Fort Clatsop National Memorial Replica was constructed in 1955. Fort Replica is not individually listed. Fort Clatsop National Memorial was authorized by Congress on May 29, 1958 and as such was entered automatically into the National Register on 10-15-1966. A National Register form was eventually prepared in 1988.The Lewis & Clark National Historical Park was created in 2004 by expanding and renaming Ft. Clatsop NMEM to include additional sites along the lower Columbia River related to the LC Expedition. (cc--2014) 7-2016 - Draft nomination update prepared by John Goodenberger.
