The original rectangular plan was enlarged in the nineteenth century and resulted in its current gable-front-and-wing configuration. The house is clad primarily with bevel (lap) siding although the east facade is covered with board and batten siding. The house features a wide frieze and gables with eave returns. Several of the 6/6 fixed and 4/4 double-hung windows are grouped in pairs. The bay window on the west includes casement windows and decorative wood panels. Recent restoration work on the property includes converting the property back to a single-family residence, as it had been converted to a triplex in the 1950s, and the extension of the front porch to its original full length.
